Microsoft Office 365
Subscribing to software is for many a cheaper way into running Microsoft Office on their computers. Office 365 also bundles in extra cloud features and on-line file storage which are not included with perpetual licences and boxed products.
Choosing the right Office 365 can be tricky as the various bundles are complex but there are a few key groupings:
- Do you want on-line web versions only?
- Do you want full installed versions of the office apps?
- Do you want your email hosted by Microsoft on Exchange server?
You can then opt to pay for the licence annually and in some cases monthly.
Schools can also gain academic versions and access to it through existing EES subscriptions, these are not covered within the table below.
